2009 Summer Programs

At Harcum, you can explore all your possibilities with academic majors that offer recession-fighting job and career options, such as nursing, dental hygiene, physical therapy, veterinary technology, human services, criminal justice and more!
Harcum’s quiet, tree-lined campus is easily accessible from all parts of the region as well as via SEPTA’s R5 train and the Route 100 trolley.
The two-year, independent college will have three sections of undergraduate offerings to choose from, making learning during the summer flexible and convenient. Undergraduate courses include Microbiology, Chemistry, Anatomy and Physiology, Nursing, Psychology, English Composition, Business courses and more. The School of Continuing and Professional studies has offerings for both adults and children. For those who need English skills, the English Language Academy of Harcum College offers full and part-time courses in writing, reading, oral communication and grammar, with experienced instructors in English as a Second Language, small classes, field trips to museums, parks, and historic sites and preparation for the TOEFL(Test of English as a Foreign Language). ELA Summer classes begin May 18, 2009.
The 10-week Summer Session I will run from Wednesday, May 13 until Tuesday, July 21. There will be no class Memorial Day, May 25. The 6-week Summer Session I will run from Wednesday, May 13 until Friday, June 26; no class on Memorial Day, May 25. The 6-week Summer Session II will run from Monday, July 6 until Friday, August 14.
