The Summer Bridge Program at Harcum College is a six-week residential program for select first-time freshmen students to experience Harcum prior to entering the fall semester.
Summer Bridge is a program designed to strengthen basic academic skills and produce students who aggressively seek knowledge, want to take control of their education and accept responsibility for their decisions.
Students in the program bridge the gap between high school and college through academic coursework, enrichment activities, and an opportunity to build relationships with students, faculty and staff at Harcum. Instruction and tutoring are a vital part of the Summer Bridge program.
Students will earn seven credits, participate in twice-weekly group and personal tutoring, mentoring and counseling sessions, and receive individualized support services.
