The office of Educational Support Services (ESS) recognizes that college can be challenging and overwhelming for some students. Located in the Academic Center, the ESS department provides:
- academic counseling
- educational workshops
- academic grant aid
- tutoring
- accommodation services for all Harcum students with documented disabilities
ESS
promotes the mission of Harcum College and encourages independent lifelong
learners. ESS allows students to actively participate in their academic
progress and to acknowledge when they need academic support. Tutoring is one
venue that students use to gain clarity about academic concepts presented in
the classroom and to develop skills to become more effective learners.
