Student Handbook

Letter from the Dean of Students

Dear Harcum Student,

I would like to introduce you to our Student Handbook. It is YOUR responsibility to be familiar with the standards of conduct; ignorance is not an acceptable response if you violate a policy.

The Student Handbook does not constitute the whole of College policy concerning students. The Course Catalog is an equally important reference for policies and expectations.

Best wishes for the year ahead! I hope you will take advantage of the many possibilities Harcum offers you. We are committed to your academic success and personal growth and want you to get the most out of your time in college. Harcum surrounds you with opportunities to challenge yourself and to meet people with backgrounds, experiences and interests different from your own. Get involved! Through SGA, student organizations, athletic teams, etc., you have an opportunity and a responsibility to influence the student culture and experience at Harcum College.

Sincerely,

Dr. George Thornton
Dean of Students
