Commuting to Campus

Student LifeHarcum welcomes commuter students and offers many services and opportunities specifically designed to enhance the commuter experience.

In addition to extensive parking lots close to the main classroom buildings, Harcum’s campus is adjacent to the Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority (SEPTA) Paoli-Thorndale rail line, and a 10-minute walk from the Route 100 trolley line.

Harcum and SEPTA offer discounted monthly SEPTA passes to students and employees. Passes are offered at 10% off the full-price and can only be purchased online at www.harcum.edu/septa For information call the Administrative Assistant in the office of Student Life at 610-526-6032.

The Student Government Association (SGA) has a liaison that represents the needs and wants of commuter students.

All activities planned by Student Life are open to commuters.

To learn more about the different services and opportunities Harcum offers commuter students—appreciation days, breakfast bars, carpools, lockers, lounges, meal plans, newsletters — or to suggest other ideas for commuters, visit the SGA office on the second floor of Klein Hall.
