Character
Harcum educates students in the arts and occupational skills, respecting each student as an individual with personal needs, Welcome to Harcum Collegeinterests, aptitudes, and aspirations.

Academics
Harcum has more than 20 majors in the liberal arts and professional studies, including dental hygiene, early childhood education, physical therapy, law & justice, and nursing, among others. The College offers Continuing Education and Professional Development courses, and degree programs at various partnership sites across the Delaware Valley.

Students
About 1,500 students from 7 states and 8 countries and from a variety of racial, ethnic, and religious backgrounds attend Harcum. Roughly 5% of students live on campus.

Student Life
There are dozens of student clubs and organizations in academic fields, sports, the arts, international and multicultural activities, community service, student government, publications and media, and other areas. Student life is lively off campus as well, as students take advantage of sports, cultural, and recreational opportunities on the suburban Main Line and in nearby Philadelphia.

Residence Halls
About 5% of Harcum students live in one of 2 coed residence halls, which include traditional-style housing.

Athletics
Strong reputation in NJCAA Division I athletics, with 6 sports for men and women. Harcum’s Bears compete in the Region 19 Athletic Conference, and have compiled an impressive record. In 2010-11 the Bears men’s basketball team was 22-6 overall and the Lady Bears went to the national finals.

Tuition and Fees
Tuition for the 2012 academic year is $9,950 per semester.
Full-time enrollment with room(double) and board is $28,500 per year.

Financial Aid
More than 90% of Harcum students receive financial aid in the form of both need-based aid and merit scholarships.

Internships and Co-ops
Harcum students explore internship and cooperative learning experiences—many of them paid—at leading area organizations, including Main Line Health and Genesis Rehabilitation.

After Harcum
Harcum graduates have an outstanding record of success in careers and in four-year institutions. The majority of graduates are employed or are pursuing further study within a few months of graduating.
