Harcum College is an associate degree-granting independent college, founded in 1915. The College has 1,600 students enrolled at its Bryn Mawr Campus and at Partnership Sites throughout southeastern Pennsylvania. Harcum’s room and board for 2012-13 is $8,600 annually.

The New York counties of Bronx, Kings, Nassau, New York, Queens, Richmond and Suffolk.
Residents of these counties interested in a Harcum degree can apply now for the Spring or Fall 2013 semesters. The scholarship is good for two academic years for resident students enrolled in Harcum programs full-time.They must choose a major from the following academic areas: Animal Center Management, Business Administration, Dental Assisting with EFDA, Early Childhood Education, Fashion Design, Fashion Merchandising, Human Services, Interior Design, General Studies, Law and Justice, Leadership, Medical Assistant, Sports Management or Veterinary Technology. All applicants will also be eligible for consideration for other grants, aid and scholarships offered by Harcum or by others.
“We hope by offering these scholarships to help those whose aspirations for higher education were set back or stopped by the storm,” said Harcum President Jon Jay DeTemple, Ph.D.
“Harcum also sustained some significant structural damage during the storm, and we are mindful of the stress and heightened concern so many people in the region have about their futures as the rebuilding process begins. Harcum has a strong history of providing career-based education for those who wish to get right to work upon graduation or to enhance their skills, and this focus remains a key part of our mission in good times and bad,” DeTemple said.
